Pakistani athlete Masood Khan has set a world record by completing an 800-kilometre non-stop run from Peshawar to Skardu.
The challenging route took him through difficult mountainous paths along the Karakoram Highway, alongside the Indus River, and across the valleys of Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to details, he completed the ultra-endurance feat in around nine days, despite extreme physical strain and harsh terrain conditions.
Masood Khan said the journey tested his strength and endurance, but he remained determined to complete the challenge for his country.
He described the achievement as a proud moment for Pakistan, saying he pushed through exhaustion and instability to reach his goal.
The athlete has previously competed internationally against runners from countries including Russia, Japan, and China, earning several medals for Pakistan.
His latest achievement is being seen as a major milestone in promoting long-distance running talent in Pakistan and highlighting the country’s presence in extreme endurance sports.
