Royal fans express concern over King Charles’ appearance in latest tribute video
Royal supporters have voiced concern for King Charles following his recent appearance in a tribute video marking Queen Elizabeth II’s 100th birthday.
The 77-year-old monarch, who has been undergoing cancer treatment, appeared in the video released on April 21 by the Royal Family’s official channels, prompting renewed public attention to his health.
In the message, King Charles reflected on his late mother’s legacy, saying: “My family and I pause to reflect on the life and loss of a sovereign who meant so much to us all and to celebrate anew the many blessings of her memory.”
The video, which included archival footage of Queen Elizabeth II, showed the King delivering his message while appearing noticeably fatigued to some viewers.
Following its release, social media users shared mixed reactions, with many expressing concern over his condition.
Some viewers commented that he appeared “tired” or “unsteady,” while others noted the visible toll of his ongoing treatment.
One user wrote that the King “does not look well,” while another said his condition seemed to reflect the impact of his illness. Others acknowledged that his health challenges were understandable given the circumstances.
Despite public concern, the Palace has not released any additional updates beyond confirming that King Charles continues to carry out official duties while receiving treatment.
The video came as the King prepares for a scheduled four-day state visit to the United States, with no changes announced to his itinerary at this stage.
