Hamza Habib has confirmed his marriage to Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal during a hearing at the Lahore High Court.
The announcement ended recent speculation surrounding the actress’s personal life and relationship status. The news quickly spread across social media and entertainment circles.
Speaking to journalists outside the court, Hamza Habib revealed that their nikah took place two days earlier. He stated that Momina Iqbal is now his legal wife and described their marriage as formally and religiously complete.
He also said he would take every possible step to ensure her dignity, safety, and protection as her husband.
Hamza Habib appeared before the Lahore High Court in connection with a case filed by Jhang police. The case involves allegations of issuing threats to a man identified as Saqib Chadhar.
The court granted Hamza Habib protective bail until June 1 and instructed him to approach the relevant trial court within the given time.
While speaking to the media, he called the case politically motivated and baseless. He also claimed that Saqib Chadhar had contacted him and allegedly offered financial incentives to distance himself from Momina Iqbal.
