Thieves stole gold jewellery and cash worth nearly Rs40 million from a house in Lahore’s Nawab Town area.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), the suspects broke into the house located in a private housing society late Sunday night and escaped with around 80 tolas of gold jewellery and Rs300,000 in cash.
The stolen valuables included 30 gold rings, a diamond set, 12 gold bangles, four bracelets, and four complete gold jewellery sets, the FIR stated.
Police said the burglars entered the house after breaking the glass door on the first floor.
The incident reportedly took place around 8 pm.
Nawab Town police station officials collected evidence from the crime scene and launched an investigation into the burglary.
