In the latest episode of the podcast, Something Haute discussed Khalil ur Rehman’s controversies and his personal journey in acting.
While addressing the issues surrounding Qamar, he stated, “When I first started out, some people in the industry were already aware of this, and it didn’t really impact me,” adding, “Of course, people have their concerns, but it doesn’t bother or worry me that something negative might happen.”
Moreover, the actor expressed that he considers his father’s personal life and his own career to be separate matters. “I don’t get involved in these topics. I avoid discussing them,” Khalil explained. He also mentioned, “There are many qualities I admire in my father; he is an excellent writer and crafts really compelling dialogue,” and expressed his belief that “I think he’s the best.”
However, Khalil added, “When he does things outside of his work, I don’t usually talk to him about it because offering negative feedback would be disrespectful and inappropriate.”
He also shared that he tends to steer clear of reading comments on the subject. “Why would I do that? He has his own successful career. I have nothing to do with his interactions. I need to focus on my own work.”
To conclude, the actor said that people still hold love and respect for Qamar, stating, “I believe people continue to love him and want to work with him, but some comments do bother him, and as a result, he has become a bit more reserved.”
