Arsenal are just one win away from ending their 22-year Premier League wait after a nervy 1-0 victory over Burnley at the Emirates. Kai Havertz scored the lone goal from a corner, though he narrowly avoided a second-half red card in a tense finish.
The Gunners can clinch the title as early as Tuesday if Manchester City fail to beat Bournemouth, or secure it themselves with a win at Crystal Palace on Sunday. Despite the tight margin against already-relegated Burnley, Arsenal’s defensive solidity and set-piece prowess keep them in control of the title race.
Manager Mikel Arteta said, “One more to go. We have done our job… now it’s time to prepare for the Palace game.”
