Concerns have emerged in security and political circles after video and audio recordings allegedly showing links between an individual identified as Shahzad and the banned Joint Awami Action Committee surfaced.

In the video, the man is seen reading a statement reportedly from Afghanistan, referring to the activities of the banned group and discussing its narrative against Pakistan. He also makes remarks suggesting that future developments regarding the state and its implications will become clear soon.

A separate audio recording reportedly captures a conversation between Shahzad and a leader of the banned group, in which they discuss mobilising supporters, opposing elections, and spreading unrest in Azad Kashmir. The conversation also includes references to coordinated efforts against the electoral process.

Security sources say the material is being examined and relevant institutions are reviewing the evidence. Analysts note that if the recordings are verified, they could have significant implications for ongoing security assessments in the region.
