CUPERTINO: Apple Inc. has unveiled a major artificial intelligence upgrade for the iPhone, marking a renewed push into AI development and a shift toward external support from Google.
The announcement came during the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), where Apple introduced a revamped version of Siri with more natural interaction and deeper integration across apps like Maps and Mail.
Apple said the new AI system will help users complete tasks across devices, but some features will come with usage limits due to reliance on cloud-based processing.
