The facility has been described as Pakistan’s first super floodlit sports track, enabling motorsport competitions to take place both during the day and at night.
According to organisers, the more than two-kilometre track has been equipped with 100 light towers, 300 LED lights, and four high-mast towers to support nighttime racing events.

A dedicated 400-metre drag-racing strip has also been developed, capable of hosting 200-metre side-by-side races where vehicles can reach speeds exceeding 250 kilometres per hour.
Officials said a modern timing system has been installed at the finish line to accurately record race results.
In the first phase, the track has been opened for four major motorsport formats including autocross, drag racing, drifting, and buggy ATV and remote-control off-road vehicle events.
Motorsport enthusiasts in Karachi often face difficulty participating in daytime races due to work commitments and extreme heat, making night racing a significant addition for the local racing community.
To support safety during events, a 2.5-kilometre service route has also been constructed around the track for fire brigade access, ambulances, and emergency medical services.
The venue further includes space for up to 100,000 spectators, along with parking facilities, accommodation areas, food courts, and service zones for participants arriving from across Pakistan.
As part of Marka-e-Haq celebrations, around 100 cars also participated in a march-past event at the newly developed track.
