KARACHI: The AS-level Business Studies paper of Cambridge International Education (CIE) was reportedly leaked online, raising fresh concerns over exam security.
The development comes days after CIE acknowledged that an AS Mathematics Paper 1 had been “shared prematurely against our regulations.”
According to reports, the Business Studies paper—scheduled to be held today—was circulated on social media late last night. One of the papers making the rounds was identified as “9609 Paper 1.”
In an earlier statement issued on April 30 regarding the mathematics paper, CIE confirmed the breach and said it was investigating the extent of the leak. “We can confirm that Cambridge International AS Level Mathematics Paper 12 (9709)… was shared prematurely against our regulations,” the board said.
The examination body added that its priority is to ensure students are not disadvantaged while safeguarding the integrity of the assessment process and maintaining confidence in the grading system.
There has been no immediate official confirmation from CIE regarding the alleged Business Studies paper leak.
