Michael Jackson’s eldest son reflects on his father’s legacy and the impact of the 2026 biopic during a special birthday tribute.

Prince Jackson made a rare public appearance in Las Vegas to honour his late father Michael Jackson on what would have been the King of Pop’s 68th birthday. Prince attended the Michael Jackson ONE show at Mandalay Bay, where he interacted with fans, signed autographs and joined them in celebrating his father’s legacy.
Prince also opened up about the recently released Michael biopic, on which he served as an executive producer. He said it has been special to see a new generation discover his father’s music and message, while describing his cousin Jaafar Jackson’s transformation into Michael as an emotional experience.
The appearance comes months after Prince and his brother Bigi attended the film’s Berlin premiere in April. Prince has continued to support projects celebrating his father’s legacy while keeping much of his personal life away from the spotlight.
