Conor Kennedy, the son of US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former boyfriend of Taylor Swift, has been placed on Russia’s international wanted list over his alleged involvement with Ukraine’s military during the war.

Russian authorities accuse Kennedy of serving as a mercenary after he secretly joined Ukraine’s International Legion in 2022. A Moscow court authorised his arrest in absentia on August 12, with the charge reportedly carrying a potential prison sentence of seven to 10 years.

Kennedy later revealed that he had travelled to Ukraine and served on the front for around two and a half months. He returned to the United States after his deployment and resumed his law studies.

Kennedy is also known for his brief relationship with Taylor Swift in 2012, which attracted significant media attention at the time. He is now married to Brazilian singer-songwriter Giulia Be, with the couple having tied the knot earlier this year.
