A 17-year-old girl allegedly died after being poisoned by her mother in Samundri, near Faisalabad.

The incident occurred in Chak 482, a suburban village in the Samundri area. According to police, the deceased was identified as Fiza, aged 17.
After receiving information about the incident, police officials rushed to the scene and launched an investigation. The girl’s body was shifted to the Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
A DSP, the local SHO and a police contingent also visited the crime scene and collected evidence. Police said further investigations are underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
