The Supreme Court has directed the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to decide the pleas filed by lawyer and activist Iman Mazari and Hadi Chattha seeking suspension of their sentences.

During the proceedings, the apex court instructed the high court to take up the matter and issue a decision in accordance with the law.
The pleas relate to requests for suspension of sentences pending further legal proceedings.
The Supreme Court’s direction comes as the petitioners continue pursuing legal relief through the courts.
