Robert Lewandowski has confirmed he will leave Barcelona this summer when his contract expires, ending a four-year spell at the club.

The 37-year-old striker joined from Bayern Munich in 2022 and scored 119 goals in 191 appearances, helping the club win three La Liga titles, including this season’s championship, as well as the Copa del Rey in 2025.

In a social media post, Lewandowski said he felt his “mission is complete” and thanked the club and fans, calling Barcelona “my place on earth.”

Head coach Hansi Flick confirmed the striker will start his final game at Camp Nou against Real Betis, praising his professionalism and legacy.

Barcelona also paid tribute, calling him a “legend” who arrived as a star and leaves as one of the club’s greats.

Lewandowski, who scored 18 goals in 44 games this season, did not confirm his next destination but has been linked with moves to Saudi Arabia and the United States.
