(Web Desk) – The Quetta Gladiators have been officially eliminated from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 playoff race, making them the second team to drop out after Rawalpindi. Their exit was confirmed following a tough loss against the Lahore Qalandars. With only three wins out of nine games, the Gladiators can no longer climb high enough in the standings to qualify for the next round.
Before this, the Rawalpindi team, led by Mohammad Rizwan, was the first to be knocked out after a difficult season where they failed to win any of their eight matches. Their early exit left a clear path for other teams, but Quetta was unable to find the consistency needed to stay in the hunt.
As it stands, Peshawar Zalmi is at the top of the leaderboard with 15 points, followed by the Multan Sultans with 12 points. Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars hold the third and fourth spots. Meanwhile, the Hyderabad Kingsmen and Karachi Kings are still fighting for a place in the playoffs, as they both sit at 6 points alongside the now-eliminated Gladiators.
