Myanmar has announced the discovery of a massive 11,000-carat ruby in the Mandalay region, according to local officials.
The gemstone, described as an exceptionally rare find, was reportedly uncovered during mining operations in an area known for its rich deposits of precious stones.
Authorities said experts are currently assessing the ruby’s quality, value, and geological significance.
Myanmar is globally recognised for producing some of the world’s finest rubies, particularly from regions famous for high-quality gemstone mining.
