Four children drowned in a pond inside the Changa Manga forest area, officials said on Tuesday.
The victims included three siblings and their cousin who had gone near the water body in the wildlife-designated zone.
Rescue teams were called to the site, but all four children were recovered dead.
Authorities said the incident occurred in an area not intended for public swimming or recreation.
An investigation has been launched to determine how the children accessed the pond.
Officials have urged the public to avoid entering restricted forest and wildlife areas due to safety risks.
