Australia defeated Pakistan by 41 runs in the second ODI at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday, leveling the three-match series 1-1.
Chasing 232, Pakistan were bowled out for 190 in 44 overs after a top-order collapse left them struggling at 78/6. Shadab Khan led the resistance with 71 runs, while Arafat Minhas contributed 33 in a crucial seventh-wicket partnership.
For Australia, Nathan Ellis starred with the ball, claiming 4-33, while Matthew Short took three wickets.
Earlier, Australia posted 231/9 after choosing to bat. Captain Josh Inglis scored 51, while Cameron Green top-scored with 53. Pakistan captain Shaheen Shah Afridi led the bowling effort with 3-36.
The series decider will be played on Thursday.
