A selloff in software stocks—driven by the rapid rise of AI tools capable of automating an increasing number of human tasks—is putting pressure on companies like Adobe, as investors assess the growing competition from firms such as Anthropic and OpenAI.
Adobe shares rose 2.2% in early trading, though the stock remains down roughly 30% so far this year as of the previous close.
The company said its newly launched suite, called CX Enterprise, leverages AI agents to help businesses better manage customer interactions.
Adobe is also collaborating with several major tech firms—including Amazon, Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Nvidia—to ensure the platform operates seamlessly across multiple ecosystems.
Meanwhile, Anthropic recently introduced Claude Design, an experimental feature that enables users to generate visuals such as prototypes, presentations, and one-page documents using its chatbot.
