Pakistan International Airlines has begun its post-Hajj operation, with the first flight bringing pilgrims back to Karachi on Sunday.

The flight, PK-860, arrived from Jeddah at Jinnah International Airport carrying over 100 Hajj pilgrims.

Airport officials and airline staff welcomed the returning passengers with flowers as families gathered in large numbers to receive their loved ones.

Pilgrims shared that they offered special prayers during Hajj for Pakistan, its economy, and national institutions.

“We prayed for the progress and prosperity of our country,” one returning pilgrim said.

The Pakistan Airports Authority said special arrangements have been made at airports across the country to manage the post-Hajj influx smoothly.

The return operation will continue in phases as more pilgrims arrive from Saudi Arabia in the coming days.
