Pakistani actor Durefishan Saleem shared an emotional message after performing Hajj, describing the pilgrimage as a life-changing spiritual experience.
The Ishq Murshid star revealed that the sacred journey brought her inner peace and helped her let go of emotional burdens. She said Hajj allowed her to detach herself from worldly emotions and strengthen her faith.
Durefishan expressed gratitude for completing Hajj alongside her parents. She also shared that she fell ill on the first day of Rami but found strength through patience and prayer.
Calling the pilgrimage a “story of Sabr, Shukar, and Tawakul,” she said the experience transformed her deeply. She also formed meaningful friendships with fellow female pilgrims during the journey.
“We prayed, cried, laughed, and ate every camp food,” she wrote. Durefishan recalled sharing moments of devotion and learning valuable lessons about faith through practice.
Reflecting on her experience, she said she was returning with countless blessings and leaving behind the weight of past emotions. She described surrender and detachment as the greatest lessons Hajj taught her.
“My body is aching, but my heart is fuller than ever,” she wrote.
Concluding her message, Durefishan extended prayers and greetings to Muslims worldwide. She wished that everyone be blessed with the opportunity to perform Hajj.
