Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s daughter, Rabia Imran, and son-in-law, Ali Imran Yousuf, have been acquitted in a NAB case over alleged corruption in the Punjab Power Development Company (PPDC).
The FIA Special Central Court approved their acquittal on Wednesday. Judge Ashfaq Ahmad cleared them of all charges.
During the hearing, the NAB officer said the accused were implicated due to a misunderstanding and confirmed that their arrest was not necessary.
