Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed for Quetta on Tuesday on a one-day visit to chair a meeting of the Apex Committee.

According to sources, the meeting will review the overall law and order situation in Balochistan, with officials expected to brief the prime minister on key security challenges and progress on ongoing measures.
Senior officials from the provincial administration, law enforcement agencies, and military leadership are expected to participate in the session.
The meeting comes amid continued focus on security and stability issues in Balochistan.
