India yet to provide evidence for Pahalgam attack allegations against Pakistan: Tarar

(Web Desk) – On the first anniversary of the Pahalgam attack, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar asserted that India has failed to produce any concrete evidence to support its allegations against Pakistan. The attack, which occurred on April 22, 2025, claimed the lives of 26 people, primarily tourists, and remains one of the deadliest incidents the region has seen in decades. Tarar pointed out that despite the passage of a full year, New Delhi has neither provided solid proof nor offered a satisfactory explanation regarding the event. He further noted that India’s rejection of Pakistan’s proposal for a neutral and transparent investigation raises significant questions about the credibility of its claims.

The Minister characterized the incident as a “false flag operation” driven by a mindset of arrogance and political greed. He questioned the suspicious speed with which the first official report was registered—within minutes of the blast—and highlighted concerns raised by various analysts regarding major security lapses at the site. Tarar emphasized that while Pakistan sympathizes with the victims as a nation that has long suffered from terrorism itself, it rejects India’s tendency to externalize its internal security failures. He concluded by criticizing India’s diplomatic stance, stating that it incorrectly portrays the international issue of Kashmir as an internal matter while attempting to frame its own internal terrorism challenges as a problem originating from outside its borders.
