(Web Desk) – The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) saw very little movement on Wednesday as investors stayed cautious while waiting for updates on the peace talks between the United States and Iran. The benchmark index ended the session at 173,134.04, marking a tiny drop of about 21 points compared to the day before.
Throughout the day, the market fluctuated between a high of 173,452 and a low of 171,841. Trading was quiet, with around 152 million shares changing hands. Experts say this slow activity is normal when there is big international news pending, as most traders prefer to wait and see how regional tensions settle before putting more money into the market.
