Kane scores as Bayern sink Stuttgart to claim Bundesliga title

Raphael Guerreiro, Nicolas Jackson, and Alphonso Davies found the net alongside Kane, while Chris Fuehrich and Chema Andres scored for the visiting team.

Borussia Dortmund’s disappointing 2-1 loss at Hoffenheim on Saturday, marking their second consecutive defeat, kept the title race open for Bayern, who only needed a draw at home to clinch the championship with four matches remaining.

Coach Vincent Kompany opted to keep key players Kane, Michael Olise, Manuel Neuer, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Dayot Upamecano, and Jonathan Tah on the bench, focusing on Wednesday’s German Cup semi-final against Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayern fell behind early when Chris Fuehrich scored in the 21st minute but responded strongly, netting three goals in just seven minutes.

Jamal Musiala set up Guerreiro’s opening goal, then Luis Diaz provided two assists in four minutes for Jackson and Davies, giving Bayern a commanding lead by halftime.

Kane extended Bayern’s advantage early in the second half, securing another Bundesliga title for the club, adding to their growing list of trophies.

With the victory secured, Bayern eased their intensity, as an assistant brought out bags filled with ‘2026 Champions’ T-shirts for the celebration.

Chema Andres scored a late consolation for Stuttgart with two minutes remaining, but Bayern continued their celebration mode as they prepared to lift the trophy.
