Israeli political analysts have described a reported US–Iran agreement as a major “political victory” for Tehran.
They also criticised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he has left Israel in a weakened diplomatic position.
Analysts writing in Israeli media outlets said the deal fails to address key Israeli concerns, including Iran’s missile program and regional influence.
Some commentators argued that Iran gains international recognition while retaining strategic capabilities.
Others said Israel remains unable to influence the terms of the agreement and is effectively dependent on US decisions.
Analysts also warned that Iran-backed groups such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and Houthi forces could benefit indirectly from the deal.
Overall, they described the agreement as strengthening Iran’s regional position while leaving major security issues unresolved.
