Singer Asim Azhar has sparked fresh online speculation after the release of his latest single, Aarzu, with fans claiming that Hania Aamir may have made an uncredited vocal appearance in the song.
The discussion began when Azhar shared a clip from the track on Instagram. Fans quickly focused on the line “Phir se bolo,” arguing that the voice heard in the background closely resembles Aamir’s.
The video soon went viral, with social media users debating whether the alleged cameo was intentional or simply a coincidence. Comment sections across platforms were flooded with fans repeating the same phrase and sharing theories about the mystery voice.
One fan claimed the audio matched a scene from the TV drama Ishqiya, suggesting the voice could have been taken from an earlier recording featuring Aamir.
The speculation has also revived public interest in the former celebrity pair. Some users linked the rumours to recent reports and social media posts showing Azhar and Aamir in New York during the singer’s North American tour.
Theories intensified further after Azhar’s earlier cover of Tere Bin Nahin Lagda, where listeners highlighted the lyric “Jaania, Haania” as a possible reference to the actor.
Despite the growing buzz, neither Azhar nor Aamir has commented on the claims. As a result, fans remain divided over whether the voice in Aarzu belongs to Hania Aamir or if the resemblance is purely coincidental.
