Two people lost their lives after a container collided with a Hyundai trailer in Shorkot on Friday.

The accident occurred near Adda Qaim Bharwana on Jhang Road in Shorkot, where the Hyundai trailer was completely destroyed due to the impact of the crash.
Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene after receiving information about the incident and launched an operation to rescue the victims trapped inside the vehicle. Officials said two people sustained critical injuries and later succumbed to their wounds.
The bodies were shifted to a local hospital for postmortem examination.
Initial investigations revealed that both the container and the Hyundai trailer were travelling from Multan to Jhang at the time of the accident. Authorities have launched further investigations to determine the exact cause of the crash.
