Pakistan’s Hajj flight operation under the government scheme has entered its final phase, with 114,078 pilgrims — about 96 percent of the total — already reached Madinah and Makkah, officials confirmed, ahead of the closure of flights on Thursday night. The remaining 4,756 pilgrims are expected to arrive in Saudi Arabia later today as the final 10 flights complete the evacuation from Pakistan.

All pilgrims have been moved from Madinah to Makkah, bringing the current total in Makkah to 114,078, and authorities are focused on ensuring orderly transit and accommodation. To assist pilgrims on the ground, more than 1,500 welfare officers and nearly 950 local assistants are working round the clock, and 490 buses have been arranged for smooth travel within the holy cities.

Under the Pakistan Hajj Mission, 23,823 pilgrims have been guided to the Grand Mosque in Makkah, and 42,858 have been facilitated at Riaz‑ul‑Jannah in Madinah so far. Comprehensive healthcare services are being provided, with tens of thousands of pilgrims treated through dedicated clinics and dispensaries established in both cities.

Support services such as the grievance redressal cell and Lost & Found department remain fully operational, resolving the majority of accommodation, transport, and catering complaints and successfully recovering and returning thousands of missing baggage items and wheelchairs.

Officials said the flight operation from Pakistan will conclude Thursday night, bringing to an end the government‑managed travel phase of Hajj 2026 under the “Route to Makkah” initiative.
