Gold prices increased in the local market on Monday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs900 to Rs477,162 compared to Rs476,262 in the previous session, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs772 to Rs409,089, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs707 to Rs375,011.
In the international market, gold gained $9 per ounce, reaching $4,548 compared to the previous rate of $4,539.
Silver prices also recorded an increase, with per tola silver rising by Rs26 to Rs8,099 and 10 grams gaining Rs22 to Rs6,943.
In global trading, silver increased by $0.26 to $76.15 per ounce.
Market analysts said the movement reflected continued volatility in precious metals, driven by shifting global economic conditions and investor sentiment.
