The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded that former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi be shifted to a hospital for medical treatment, criticising what it described as a “seek and hide approach” by authorities.
Party representatives said both individuals require proper medical facilities and specialist care that they claim is not fully available in the current detention environment.
PTI leaders argued that denying timely medical access raises humanitarian and legal concerns, and called for transparency regarding their health conditions.
They urged authorities to ensure that medical decisions are made in line with jail regulations and constitutional rights, stressing that health should not be politicized.
