ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s military leadership has vowed a stronger and more forceful response to any future aggression, reaffirming the country’s preparedness and national unity following “Marka-e-Haq.”

Speaking at the launch ceremony of a commemorative publication produced in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and ISPR, officials praised the armed forces’ response during last year’s conflict with India and stressed that Pakistan remains fully prepared for future challenges.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said the entire nation stood united against external threats and warned that any future hostility would receive an even tougher response.

He stated that Pakistan had emerged stronger and more stable after the conflict and described the country as a guarantor of regional stability.

The minister reiterated that Pakistan seeks peace and regional cooperation but remains committed to defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Referring to the May 2025 conflict with India, Asif said Pakistan’s armed forces had effectively countered Indian military actions and neutralised key threats during the confrontation.

He also highlighted Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach and contributions to international peacekeeping efforts, saying the country has consistently pursued responsible policies despite regional tensions.

Officials said the publication serves as a historical account of national unity, sacrifice, and the armed forces’ role during the conflict.
