DUBAI: Dubai Police have impounded around 10 motorcycles and launched legal proceedings against a group of young riders caught performing dangerous stunts on public roads, authorities confirmed.
Police said the riders were seen carrying out high-risk manoeuvres, including riding on one wheel and weaving through traffic, behaviour that posed a serious threat to road users.
Videos released by Dubai Police showed the motorcyclists engaging in reckless stunts on busy streets, with many believed to be young individuals involved in stunt riding.
Authorities confirmed that cases have been registered against those involved and stressed that strict enforcement will continue against any violations of traffic laws.
Dubai Police also urged parents to monitor their children’s activities more closely and raise awareness about road safety, warning that such actions can lead to severe accidents or loss of life.
