GWADAR: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti on Friday inaugurated the Gwadar Women Bazaar.

During the visit, the chief minister was given a detailed briefing on the project, officials said.

He was informed that the bazaar currently includes 14 shops in its initial phase and is designed to create more employment and business opportunities for women in the coastal city.

CM Bugti also visited different stalls, interacted with women shopkeepers, and inquired about their issues. He directed officials to address their concerns and sought suggestions for improving the facility.

Speaking on the occasion, he said women’s empowerment remains a top priority of the provincial government and described the Gwadar Women Bazaar as an important platform for supporting female entrepreneurship.

He added that similar women-focused markets would be expanded across Balochistan, and the government would continue taking steps to improve economic opportunities for women.

Bugti said providing business platforms to women represents a step toward a stronger and more inclusive future.
