Gold and Silver Prices Drop in Pakistan Following Global Trends

(Web Desk) – Gold prices in Pakistan saw a notable decline on Wednesday, tracking a downward shift in the international bullion market. The global price of gold fell by $12 per ounce, bringing the new international rate to $4,766 per ounce. This international dip directly impacted local markets, where the price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 1,200 per tola, settling at Rs 498,962.

The price for 10 grams of gold also saw a reduction, falling by Rs 1,029 to reach Rs 427,779. Silver followed a similar downward trajectory; the price per tola dropped by Rs 34 to settle at Rs 8,324, while the rate for 10 grams of silver fell by Rs 29, bringing it to Rs 7,136. Market analysts suggest that the continued cooling of prices is a reflection of current global economic shifts and a cautious trading environment.
